Roonka Environment At Roonka we pride ourselves on the extensive use of solar power, wind power, river water, rain water and gas to minimise impact on the environment and reduce costs to users. The site has undergone substantial revegetation to promote the return of birds and other wildlife. Roonka is self funded from camp fees and trading post profits. The site is managed and maintained by a small dedicated group of volunteers, who are happy to provide assistance to all camp users. |
